Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is Capcom's single-player expansion for the 2024 action RPG, launching October 9, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. It adds the snowy northern region of Norgan, twelve Lost Rites dungeons on the base map, a relic appraisal loop, and new hairstyles.     The expansion launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. PC players should check system requirements before pre-ordering. Switch 2 includes the base game and the expansion in one package.

    Learn vocations and pawns

    There are no brand-new vocations. Instead, the late-August title update raised weapon skill slots from four to six. Read the vocation overview, then lock a party in the tier list and pawn guide.

    Plan Norgan around level 40

    Capcom recommends about level 40 for the snowy north. Lost Rites dungeons open from level 20. Use the Norgan walkthrough and the relic loop to decide which content you tackle first.

    Track free updates and Hard Mode

    June added the Eternal Ferrystone. August added save slots, six skills, and performance work. Hard Mode is in development for after launch — follow title updates so you do not mix those dates.

Do I need the base game?

Yes for the $29.99 expansion DLC on PS5, Xbox, and Steam. The $49.99 Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen product includes the base game plus the expansion. The Switch 2 version ships both together. Details live on pre-order.

Is this a Roblox game or a multiplayer sequel?

Neither. This is Capcom's single-player action RPG expansion. Pawns are AI companions, including ones hired from other players' rift, but the campaign itself is single-player.

Which languages are supported?
